Hi! I'm a Software Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), graduated from McMaster University in 2023. Welcome to my website! All the artwork here is made by my artist sister
Khadija Aziz.
I'm interested in lots of different aspects of computer and software engineering, namely backend software development, cloud
computing, distributed computing, embedded systems, digital circuits, operating systems and computer architecture! I know that's a lot of
topics, but I'm hoping to get experience working with all of these to figure out what I want to focus in on for the rest of my career!
Although I'm going into my third year, I've actually been in university for 4 years. I was originally in Computer Engineering, but
later I switched into Software Engineering. So I have lots of technical projects under my belt and I've learned lots of theory too!
I've had two internships which I'll talk more about in the Internship section. This summer of 2020, I'm
working at Amazon (Vancouver) remotely from my house in Ajax, Ontario. During my free time I like to explore lots of cool tech - I recently
bought a DE10-Nano board which has an FPGA and an ARM processor that I'll hopefully do some fun projects with! I've also been working on some
small personal software projects, you can check them out on GitHub.
